What is the check-in procedure?
Once your booking and trip details have been confirmed, please send us all your relevant travel details, including estimated time of arrival and whether you require airpot collection. One of our mangers will be at the entrance to the Marina to welcome you upon arrival.
What time is check-out?
Checkout is at 11am on the day of departure. If an extended checkout time is needed, please contact us prior to the time so that necessary arrangements can be made in advance.
What are reception operating hours?
We have a duty manager available 24 hours a day to ensure you are well looked after throughout your stay.
Special rates for long term stays and group bookings?
What do the apartments include?
All of our apartments are fully furnished and complimented with an inventory equal to that of a private residence. If you have any special requests please notify us in advance so that prior arrangements can be made if possible.
Are you able to walk to the V&A waterfront?
Yes, the V&A waterfront is a quick five minute walk from the Marina.
Are baby cots and extra beds available?
Extra bedding requirements can be arranged on request. Please notify us a few days in advance to ensure we set up your room accordingly before your arrival.
Do you have a gym and swimming pool?
The Marina offers five swimming pools and a gym. Please enquire about the daily gym fee.
Do you have a restaurant or takeaway service?
There are a range of popular food delivery service companies and apps that allow you to order take-aways.
Do you offer an airport shuttle service?
Mountain Marina provides a professional Chaffer service with a range of sedans including a van for large groups. We would need to know in advance your flight details and arrival time so that we can ensure we are ready and waiting for your arrival.
Is there free onsite parking?
Yes, there is safe and secure parking within the Marina.
How do I get there?
- Follow the N2 highway until it ends at the Cape Town Foreshore.
- Turn left onto dock road and continue straight past the Caltex gas station.
- Turn left at the first set of traffic lights and continue for 200m for the Bluff Entrance on the roundabout.
- Continue straight and turn left at the second traffic light for the Peninsula entrance.
- *Guest will be notified with their reservation confirmation which entrance to arrive at.
Are the rooms serviced daily?
Yes, our rooms are serviced daily for the first week of your stay. Thereafter it defaults to every second day, unless requested otherwise.
Do you have restaurants close by?
We’re a short 5 minute walk from The V & A Waterfront, which offers over 50 restaurants and many shops, including two large grocery stores.
Do you have wifi?
We offer free, uncapped highspeed 20 mbps WIFI to all of our guests.
Are their laundry facilities?
Guest laundry can be sent out to a professional laundry service.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately as much as we love our fury friends, the Marina does not allow any pets. Only service dogs/ animals will be accommodated and prior notification is imperative to ensure we complete the necessary paperwork.
How can we get around Cape Town if we don’t have a car?
Cape Town has a range of private taxi services, as well as a very active Uber driver community. Our central location to main tourist attractions means that transport is very easily accessible.
